10 garment standards put into effect

It is informed by National Garment Standardization Technology Committee that 10 new national garment standards including men's suits & coats, women's suits & coats, trousers and tie have taken into effect since January 1, 2010. Among these, some have set specific requirements on pH value, biodegradable cancer-causing aromatic amine dyes and formaldehyde for the first time, which not only follows the safety performance requirements closer than the past, but also plays an active role in the promotion and protection of the garment trade.
