Jiangsu New Yalu group was founded in 1972, to which Jiangsu Yalu Industrial Inc., Shanghai Yalu Investment Development Co., Ltd. and Suzhou Yalu yang yi Fashion Co., Ltd. are affiliated. It has constructed 6 specialized production bases for eiderdown wear, sportswear, Western-style clothes, shirt, sweater and women's wear, and has grown into a leading enterprise of the nationwide apparel industry that integrates R&D, marketing and import- export operations, boasting a floor area of 185,000m2, a building area of 83,000m2, 5,000 employees, an annual production capacity of 9.6 million pieces/suits, total sales of RMB 1.5 billion and total assets of RMB 1.2 billion. Yalu has its branches in 12 countries, including the USA, France, Russia and Southeast Asia, with over ten thousand points of sales spreading all over the world.
After 1998, Yalu has accelerated its pace of development by converting its operating mechanism and extending its marketing coverage totally into the eiderdown wear field, raising its output and sales volume of eiderdown wear from 440,000 pieces to above 6 million pieces. Its production and sales has ascended to the top in the industry domestically at the rate of doubling a year. It has hence been renowned as a dark horse in the domestic eiderdown wear field and appraised as one of the "Top 100" enterprises in both profit payment and tax turnover in the Chinese apparel industry for four years, one of the "Top 50" enterprises in profit payment and tax turnover in the textile industry of Jiangsu Province.
Yalu has deeply realized that creating an international brand is the pass to world trade. While enlarging its scale of production and operation, it is practically innovating and self-surpassing under the business philosophy of "winning with innovation, building a world brand", trying to continuously improve Yalu's image and fulfill the transformation from China Yalu to International Yalu.
